Allied Universal in Pflugerville, TX is looking for a Security Officer Part Time Government Facility Driver. In this role you will serve government facilities, conduct patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents with professionalism and courtesy.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and employee authorization in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and public agencies as needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and irregular conditions in clear, accurate reports, and communicate relevant information to site representatives and Allied Universal leadership.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
