Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Foot Patrol in Wilson, NC. You will provide a visible security presence, assist visitors, and help deter incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

The position offers flexible DayTime shifts, an opportunity to join a nationwide security team, and a pathway to ongoing training and development. Must be at least 18 with HS diploma; background check and drug screen apply.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the food production location, including exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors in accordance with site requirements.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and unusual conditions accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
