Qualifications

• Possess 6 months or more of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.

• Armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Minimum ages: 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background investigation will be conducted as part of employment.
• Criminal histories will be considered in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/locality and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and guests while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Staff the front desk in a professional financial-services location, greet and direct visitors, verify identification, and manage visitor access in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor access points, visitor logs, and security-related systems from the front desk; report irregularities and access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of visitors, deliveries, incidents, and other front-desk activities while communicating clearly with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 6 months or more of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Provide a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
