Allied Universal in Yadkinville, NC is seeking a Part-Time Front Desk Security Professional to provide welcoming, high-visibility security at a food and beverage location. You will manage access control, badge issuance, and visitor logs while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Must be 18+ (21+ for armed roles).
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor access to the facility by greeting visitors, verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate visitor and contractor logs.
• Answer and direct incoming calls, receive deliveries, and communicate visitor arrivals or unusual activity to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Maintain awareness of front desk activity and report access concerns, policy violations, or suspicious behavior to Allied Universal leadership and site management.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
