What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a manufacturing and industrial location, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Control access for employees, contractors, deliveries, and vendors in accordance with established site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents, access-control alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter areas; report security-related concerns, hazardous conditions, and policy violations.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
