Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer at a healthcare location in Rock Hill, SC. You will greet patients and visitors, manage access, and deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining a professional front-desk presence.

This role offers flexible daytime schedules and access to our Claim a Shift platform. A high school diploma is required; background check and drug screen may apply; lifting up to 20 lbs and 18+ years old are needed.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background checks and drug screening may be required by policy.
• Driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Pay Rate: $14.40 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide a professional, welcoming presence at the front desk of a healthcare location by greeting patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while delivering outstanding customer service.
• Monitor access to the facility in accordance with site-specific policies, verify visitor information, issue visitor credentials as applicable, and direct individuals to appropriate departments.
• Observe front desk activity and security-related systems, report unusual conditions, and help to deter unauthorized access through courteous interaction and adherence to established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate with appropriate healthcare personnel and emergency responders as directed.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, incident documentation, and other required records while protecting confidential information and following applicable site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
