Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Enhanced Security Officer in Sacramento, CA. This flexible role offers reliable hours at an assigned site with the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

You will provide customer service to tenants and visitors, perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points, and document incidents. The position emphasizes schedule flexibility, earnings potential, and a path to full-time opportunities with training.

Qualifications

• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and report suspicious activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs related to patrols, incidents, and security‑related observations.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Observation in Sacramento, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.85 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
