$22.09 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public at a government facility by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Staff the front desk and manage access by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or appointments, issuing visitor credentials, and directing individuals to appropriate locations.
• Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and security-related systems from a stationary post; report unusual activity, access concerns, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting emergency services and/or supervisory personnel as needed.
• Maintain accurate logs and records for visitors, deliveries, incidents, and other security-related activities in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
