Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control Patrol in New York, NY. This role offers flexible, anchor shifts with a six-month commitment and opportunities to earn more by taking additional shifts across sites.

Pay rate ranges from $18.48 to $19.48 per hour, with a schedule of Fri and Sat evenings. This position supports customer service, security procedures, and incident response at a retail location.

Competenze

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as per laws.
• Drug screen may be required.

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and team members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting suspicious conditions, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control Patrol in New York, NY, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.48 - 19.48 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 03:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 10:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
