Qualifications

• Fluent in speaking, reading and writing Spanish.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as per laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at a public museum location.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating per protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols through galleries, public spaces, entrances, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor visitor flow and observe exhibits and facility conditions, reporting unusual activity and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain activity logs and incident reports, and communicate with museum personnel, guests, law enforcement, and emergency responders as needed.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑control practices, and emergency response activities at a public museum location.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout galleries, public spaces, entrances, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor visitor flow and observe exhibits, restricted areas, and facility conditions, reporting unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate professionally with museum personnel, guests, law enforcement, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
