Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard (Part Time) in Miami, FL to patrol and secure museum locations. Fluency in Spanish is required to engage a diverse visitor base and provide exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Fluent Spanish speaking, reading and writing.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screening required.
• Licensing requirements per state/local laws; driver’s license for driving roles only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to museum visitors, staff, contractors, and public agency personnel following site procedures and emergency protocols.
• Respond to incidents calmly and notify appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout museum galleries, public areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity, reporting unusual conditions and security concerns.
• Assist with maintaining orderly visitor flow during exhibits and events.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to museum visitors, staff, contractors, and public agency personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout museum galleries, public areas, entrances, administrative spaces, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in accordance with site-specific policies, reporting unusual conditions, property concerns, and security-related incidents.
• Assist with maintaining orderly visitor flow during exhibits, events, and public programs while following applicable government location procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
