Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Indiana. This role offers a flexible, dependable schedule with anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

You will safeguard a distribution site, perform access control, monitor cameras, and respond to incidents in a calm, professional manner. A six‑month commitment applies to anchor shifts, with potential for growth and additional earnings.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers, and maintain accurate entry and exit records in accordance with site procedures.
• Assist with controlling vehicle, trailer, and pedestrian access to support orderly movement throughout the distribution facility.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns according to site‑specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
