Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Enhanced in Louisville, KY. You’ll provide courteous customer service, perform site-specific security procedures, and help maintain a safe environment while supporting a flexible, anchor-shift schedule.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at government facilities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and support a professional presence.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor activity, and assist with directing individuals in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergency situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate personnel and public services as needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and noteworthy observations through accurate reports and shift communications.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Incident Documentation in Louisville, KY, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

$19.45 / Hour

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
