Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced at Bordentown, NJ to provide reliable security services at a designated site. The role offers flexible hours, anchor shifts, and opportunities to earn more through additional shifts using our scheduling platform.

Responsibilities include carrying out security procedures, responding calmly to incidents, patrolling industrial facilities, monitoring access points, and documenting events with detailed reports.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols throughout industrial facilities, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor, employee, and delivery traffic in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Complete accurate reports, logs, and incident documentation related to patrols, access activity, and security-related concerns.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Accountability in Bordentown, NJ, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.35 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Sat 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
