Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Experienced Unarmed Patrol in Pottstown, PA. You will safeguard client sites across manufacturing and industrial settings, performing patrols, monitoring access, and responding to incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

The role features weekend shifts (Sat and Sun 2:00 PM–10:00 PM), a pay rate of $20.00 per hour, and a requirement of at least 6 months of security experience along with basic computer or tablet proficiency.

Qualifications

• 6 months of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, access points, parking areas, and exterior perimeter.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access, and report concerns to site contacts.
• Prepare clear activity and incident reports and communicate observations to supervisors and client representatives.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Security Experience

• Candidates must possess a minimum of 6 months of relevant security experience. This experience should demonstrate the ability to handle security-related tasks and responsibilities effectively.

Technical Proficiency

• Candidates should be comfortable using a computer or tablet. Proficiency in basic software applications and the ability to navigate digital platforms are essential for performing job-related tasks efficiently.

• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, access points, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access as directed, and report access-related concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate observations to supervisors and client representatives as required.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
