Job summary

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, seeks a part-time Security Officer with experience in Brookfield, WI. You will protect clients across Retail/Malls and related sites, providing exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.

As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a flexible schedule using the Claim a Shift platform. Minimum requirements include at least one year of security experience and a high school diploma

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience required.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• State/county/city security license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, tenants, and patrons following site policies.
• Respond to incidents and disturbances in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of common areas and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and vendor activity per site procedures.
• Document incidents and patrols accurately and communicate with leadership.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur - 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sat - 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun - 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, tenants, and retail patrons by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of common areas, retail spaces, parking areas, building exteriors, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
