Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer – Driver Patrol Tablet Reporting in King Of Prussia, PA. You will perform unarmed patrols at a commercial real estate location, monitor access, respond to incidents, and provide excellent customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements include a valid driver’s license.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, tenants, visitors, and/or employees at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interiors, exteriors, parking areas, and access points to deter activity and identify issues.
• Monitor access and verify visitor/contractor authorization; direct guests as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document activities.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate with Allied Universal leadership and emergency responders.

As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms, and provide outstanding customer service. You will use communication and technology skills to support daily operations while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, tenants, visitors, and/or employees at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed by site procedures, and assist with directing guests to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership, property management, and/or emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
