Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, employees, visitors, and contractors while following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of property interiors, exteriors, parking areas, access points, and perimeter.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and per site procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization as directed by policy.
• Communicate with property management and Allied Universal leadership regarding security concerns.

Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to tenants, employees, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site policy, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and site observations.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
