Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Entry Point Monitor in Breinigsville, PA. You will manage access control, monitor entry points, and support a safe, welcoming environment at a food and beverage production site.

The schedule includes nights Sunday through Tuesday and Wednesday to Friday rotations as needed, with a pay rate of $15.25 per hour. Candidates should be 18+ (21+ for armed roles) and have a high school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, vendors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and safety protocols.
• Monitor and control entry/exit points, verify credentials, issue visitor passes, and maintain access records.
• Screen deliveries, vendor arrivals, and contractor access according to site procedures.
• Respond to access-control incidents and alarms, reporting observations to site contacts and leadership.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points and perimeters to deter unauthorized access.

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204) Proficiency in using computers or tablets is required. Candidates should be comfortable navigating software applications, managing emails, and utilizing digital tools for communication and reporting.
• Customer Service Experience (B219) A background in customer service is crucial. Candidates should demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, the ability to handle inquiries and complaints, and a commitment to providing excellent service to clients and colleagues.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, vendors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Screen deliveries, vendor arrivals, and contractor access in accordance with site procedures, directing authorized personnel to appropriate check-in locations.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, exterior areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unauthorized access and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
