Job summary

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer in Breinigsville, PA. You will monitor and patrol production areas, assist with access control, and provide excellent customer service in a dynamic setting.

Schedule features weekend evenings (Sat/Sun 1:30 PM - 9:30 PM). Candidates must be 18+ with HS diploma; background checks and drug screening apply; a driver’s license is required for driving roles.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen administered as allowed by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and according to site protocols.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 01:30 PM - 09:30 PM
• Sun: 01:30 PM - 09:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, production areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and documentation as required.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity by observing site conditions, reporting unusual activity, and communicating concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
