Allied Universal in Tampa, FL is seeking a Part Time Entry Management Security Officer to help safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will manage access points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and maintain a visible presence to deter security incidents.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law and company policy.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, vendors, and commercial vehicles in accordance with established access-control requirements.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, vehicle, and delivery records; issue and collect credentials, passes, and access devices as directed by site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access areas, buildings, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
