As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide exceptional customer service at a construction-focused location. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate professionally with personnel and visitors, and report security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $27.14 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access‑control procedures, site‑specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor and manage entry and exit points, verify authorized access credentials, and maintain visitor and contractor sign‑in records in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned construction areas, offices, gates, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report security‑related concerns.
• Document daily activities, access‑control events, incidents, and observations through required reports and communication channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
