Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time security professional in Bucks County for Fri and Sat night shifts. You will provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors, enforce site policies, and respond to emergencies.

Position requires EMT certification, a valid driver's license, and firefighting experience. A background check and drug screen are required; age 18+ for unarmed roles, 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial facilities, production areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, following visitor and contractor entry procedures, and reporting unauthorized access concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff information while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $30.00 / Hour

1. Valid Driver's License:

   • All candidates must possess a valid driver’s license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123). This is essential for roles that require driving as part of the job responsibilities.
   • Candidates are required to provide a copy of their valid driver’s license during the application process.

2. EMT Certification:

   • Candidates must hold a current Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification (C127). This certification is crucial for positions that involve emergency response and medical assistance.
   • A copy of the EMT certification must be submitted with the application.

3. Previous Firefighting Experience:

   • Applicants must have documented previous firefighting experience (C129). This experience is necessary for roles that involve firefighting duties and responsibilities.
   • Candidates should provide references or documentation verifying their firefighting experience as part of their application.

• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an EMT certification.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess previous firefighting experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
