Job summary

Allied Universal in Reading, PA is seeking a Part Time EMT Medical Support Driver to safeguard clients across Manufacturing & Industrial sites. Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• EMT certification is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate security-related logs and reports.
• Communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $25.10 / Hour

• Valid Driver's License
  • Candidates must possess a valid driver's license in accordance with the Driver Policy Requirements (C123).
  • Additionally, candidates must hold a valid driver's license that is recognized in the job state (C124).
• EMT Certification
  • Candidates must have a current Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification (C127) to ensure they are qualified to perform necessary medical duties as part of their role.
• Technical Proficiency
  • Candidates must demonstrate comfort and proficiency in using a computer or tablet (B204) to effectively perform job-related tasks.
• Customer Service Experience
  • Candidates should have prior customer service experience (B219) to ensure they can provide high-quality service to our clients and customers.

• Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
