As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a busy retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers and staff. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Wed: 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM

Thur: 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and associate activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities accurately and promptly in accordance with site and Allied Universal requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
