Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by policy.

As a Security Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.67 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and applicable emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, building exteriors, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor records, and reporting unauthorized access attempts in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when required.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns through accurate reports and shift communications.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
