Job summary

Allied Universal in Honolulu, HI is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Driver Patrol Support. You will safeguard clients across Aero/Defense and other sectors, conducting patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering exceptional customer service.

The role is part-time with a pay rate of $29.00 per hour. Schedule: DayTime Mon 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM and Tue 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM. Pre-employment requires a valid driver’s license and AU Driver Policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation required by policy.
• Drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or delivery personnel while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of various areas to identify unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access by verifying identification and credentials for authorized personnel.
• Respond to incidents and alarms with calm, efficient action; document observations and notify contacts.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and shift handoff information on a security project.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of construction areas, perimeter locations, access points, parking areas, and temporary facilities to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to controlled areas by verifying identification, credentials, visitor authorization, and contractor access requirements in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff information while supporting a professional presence at an aerospace and defense-related project location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
