Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Patrol Operations in CHESTER, PA. This role offers flexible hours with fixed anchor shifts and optional extra shifts to increase earnings.

The position pays $16.00 per hour and supports a schedule with early morning shifts, allowing you to scale to up to 40 hours weekly if desired.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, property concerns, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner; document observations and actions.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity; report maintenance concerns, suspicious behavior, and policy violations.
• Maintain a professional presence and support a welcoming environment, following reporting requirements.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Patrol Operations in CHESTER, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (\"Anchor Shifts\"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.


• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.


• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting maintenance concerns, suspicious behavior, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.


• Maintain a professional presence while supporting a welcoming environment for occupants and guests, following Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.


• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• Access control and badge experience is preferred.


• Loss prevention experience is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
