Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer - Driver in Lima, OH. The role supports manufacturing locations with unarmed security, patrols, access control, and dependable customer service.

You will drive on site, complete reports, and uphold Allied Universal standards while creating a safe, professional environment for employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures and access-control protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry/exit activity, verify credentials, and maintain logs per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, problem-solving manner and document observations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of facility buildings, production areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter boundaries to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel according to site-specific procedures.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence consistent with Allied Universal standards.

• Tue 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You’ll Do

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
