Allied Universal in Falls Church, VA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer with DoD Secret Clearance to protect clients in aerospace and defense and provide exceptional customer service.

You will patrol sites, respond to incidents, verify credentials, and uphold site policies while collaborating with a professional team. This role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to grow within a leading security provider.

Qualifications

• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• A Guard Card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual conditions, report security-related concerns, and document observations, incidents, and patrol activities in accordance with site requirements.
• Support access-control procedures by verifying credentials, directing authorized visitors, and reporting access irregularities to appropriate site personnel.
