Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Dispatch Operator in Seattle, WA. You will coordinate calls for service, monitor security feeds, and support transit safety with professional communication.

Emerging in a flexible schedule, you will help provide excellent customer service to riders and staff while maintaining accurate logs and coordinating with teams and responders.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• State, county, or city-issued security license preferred.
• Guard card/license preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by policy.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to riders, visitors, and staff while enforcing policies.
• Receive, prioritize, document, and dispatch calls for service and incidents.
• Monitor dispatch tools, cameras, and alarms for rapid awareness of conditions.
• Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate with field personnel and responders.
• Maintain accurate incident logs and reports to deter unauthorized activity.

Pay Rate: $28.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to transit riders, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Receive, prioritize, document, and dispatch calls for service, alarms, incidents, and requests for assistance to assigned personnel and appropriate public agencies.
• Monitor communications systems, cameras, alarms, and other available dispatch tools to support timely awareness of security-related conditions across transit facilities and operations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing clear information and coordinating communications with field personnel, supervisors, and emergency responders.
• Maintain accurate incident logs, dispatch records, and related reports while helping to deter unauthorized activity through timely reporting and coordination.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
