Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Rancho Cordova, CA. This role offers a flexible, dependable option to supplement income, gain hands-on experience, and work toward a full-time career with the industry leader.

The position features fixed anchor shifts with a six-month commitment and an Earn More/Claim-A-Shift program to pick up extra shifts across multiple sites, increasing earnings and experience.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law and policy.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• A valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouses and surrounding areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor/vehicle activity.
• Observe and report unusual conditions or incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow site procedures, documenting outcomes.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Customer Service Patrol in Rancho Cordova, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the distribution location, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, damaged property, access control concerns, and other security‑related incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures and preparing accurate reports.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
