Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer for Customer Relations Patrol in Newton, Mississippi. You will monitor client sites, provide exemplary customer service, and respond to incidents while maintaining a visible presence to deter security issues.

The position emphasizes flexible scheduling, taking on shifts through our Claim a Shift platform. Prior security or loss prevention experience is preferred, with a requirement to meet basic education and background checks.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol a logistics location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine rounds, report concerns, support loss prevention efforts, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
