Allied Universal, a leading security provider, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed X Ray Checkpoint Patrol) in Newton, MS. You will protect clients across various industries while delivering exceptional service and maintaining a visible security presence.

The role offers flexible hours with the “Claim a Shift” platform, and opportunities to learn and grow within a supportive team. A background check and drug screen are required.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a logistics location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, report observations, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Loss Prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
