Qualifications

• Minimum six months of security experience required.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.

• Age: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, passengers, visitors, and/or employees while handling security-related procedures.
• Control access to restricted areas by verifying identification and credentials according to procedures.
• Monitor entry/exit points, maintain access logs, and report incidents.
• Respond calmly to incidents following site protocols and notify designated contacts.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned locations to deter unauthorized activity.

Pay Rate: $16.97 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, passengers, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access to restricted airport areas by verifying identification, credentials, access authorizations, and/or visitor documentation in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, maintain accurate access logs, and report unauthorized access attempts, credential concerns, or other security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and notifying designated contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, surrounding areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least six months of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
