Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as a condition of employment under federal, state, and local laws.

• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, employees, and parking facility users while carrying out site-specific security procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to parking facilities, garages, offices, and restricted areas by verifying credentials, authorizations, permits, and visitor information.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, customer requests, and critical situations calmly and professionally; notify appropriate personnel and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of parking areas, entrances, exits, pedestrian walkways, and the surrounding perimeter to identify unusual activity, hazards, and access-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports of visitor activity, access control events, incidents, patrols, and communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Credential Review in Wilmington, DE, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.37 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeTue12:00 AM - 09:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
