Allied Universal in Milford, DE, is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time to support a food and beverage production site. The role offers reliable, fixed shifts with opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

You will provide access control, monitor entry points, respond to incidents, and maintain logs while earning $17.25 per hour with potential to increase earnings through additional shifts.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of security-related experience or similar preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check will be conducted.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access-control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify ID and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain logs.
• Observe vehicle, pedestrian, and vendor traffic at gates and receiving areas, reporting unusual activity to site leadership or supervision.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner following post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of designated access points, parking areas, and adjacent facilities, noting security-related concerns.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Credential Audit in Milford, DE, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by pick-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Mon 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access-related logs for a food and beverage production location.
• Observe vehicle, pedestrian, and vendor traffic at gates and receiving areas, helping to deter unauthorized access and reporting unusual activity to site leadership and or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated access points, parking areas, perimeter locations, and adjacent facilities, noting and reporting security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
