Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and maintain logs.
• Screen vehicles, deliveries, contractors, and vendors and coordinate access with site personnel.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate concerns through reporting channels.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, parking areas, and the business perimeter.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Credentialing in Cincinnati, OH, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate:

$17.43 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Screen vehicles, deliveries, contractors, and vendors in accordance with site procedures and coordinate access with authorized site personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, production-adjacent exterior areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
