Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Enhanced at our Georgetown, DE site. The role offers fixed evening shifts with flexible opportunities to pick up additional hours, helping you earn more while contributing to safe, orderly environments.

You will conduct access control, monitor entry points, and respond calmly to incidents as part of a collaborative security team at a major production location. A valid driver’s license and security experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a food and beverage production location; verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor access, and maintain accurate access logs.
• Screen incoming vehicles and deliveries in accordance with site procedures, directing authorized personnel to designated areas and reporting irregularities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, facility areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Control Patrol Driver in Georgetown, DE, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate

$17.25 / Hour

Job Schedule

Day Time Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.
