Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in Tanner, AL. The role provides reliable, fixed hours at an assigned site with the option to pick up additional shifts and earn more through our scheduling platform.

The position requires EMT certification and a high school diploma, with CPR and a driver’s license preferred. The schedule includes Fri/Sat night shifts, and the incumbent will support a professional, collaborative environment while protecting people and property.

Qualifications

• Possess EMT certification.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and following Allied Universal and client site procedures.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time CPR Response in Tanner, AL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate:

$19.48 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and following Allied Universal and client site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess EMT certification.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
