Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Front Desk Coordinator/Security Officer at a premier Wilmington, DE location. You will greet visitors, verify access, monitor lobby activity, and respond calmly to incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and security support.

Pay Rate: $18.74 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors at a commercial real estate front desk by following site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Greet visitors, verify access authorization, manage visitor sign-in processes, and provide directions or general building information as appropriate.
• Monitor lobby activity, access points, and security-related systems from a stationary post, reporting unusual activity or access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate with building management, emergency responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of visitors, deliveries, incidents, and shift activity, and assist with emergency response activities when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
