Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate hospital areas.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entrances, access points, and surrounding areas to help deter unauthorized entry and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with hospital personnel and Allied Universal leadership, documenting incidents and access-related activity according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
