As an Unarmed Security Officer at a residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to residents and visitors while using computer or tablet systems as needed. Pay Rate: $15.92 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 04:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sat 04:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sun 08:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential property.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, documenting observations and incidents accurately.
• Communicate with property management, residents, and emergency responders as needed while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
