You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist visitors and staff, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.87 - $18.87 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 06:30 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur 06:30 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and other members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a government healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, public areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, access control, and direction-giving while maintaining a professional and respectful presence.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Vaccinations are required for hospital assignments.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
