Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property management following site procedures and security policies at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interiors, exteriors, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe activity, and report suspicious persons, hazards, or policy violations as directed by site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies, and contact appropriate personnel and responders per site procedures.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol records; communicate key information to leadership and site contacts.

As a Security Officer Part Time Building Patrol Watch in Cleveland, OH, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $15.30 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property management personnel by carrying out site‑specific procedures and security‑related policies at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the property, and report suspicious persons, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency responders as directed by site procedures.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol records, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
