Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Part Time Enhanced Security Officer in Cleveland, OH. This role offers flexible, dependable hours with fixed anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up extra shifts for additional earnings.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site‑specific procedures and security‑related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials as assigned, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Communicate observations and concerns promptly to site leadership, Allied Universal supervision, and appropriate personnel.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver in Cleveland, OH, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule: Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
