Allied Universal in Diamond Bar, CA, is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Bilingual Access Control to monitor entry points and verify credentials while delivering excellent resident and guest service. Qualifications

• Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Criminal history considered in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access‑control procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with residential community procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and access‑related reports while maintaining professional communication with residents and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
