As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will ride a bicycle to conduct routine patrols throughout an assigned location, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with visitors and staff, report observations, and support a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned municipal buildings, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, public inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Monitor access points and observe activity at assigned locations, reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain detailed activity logs for incidents, patrols, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Able to ride a bike.
• Preferred ability to ride a bike for long periods of time.
• A Security Professional Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Preferred ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
