Job Description

As a Security Officer Bike Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer supporting a commercial real estate location, you will conduct highly visible bike patrols, monitor assigned areas, and help deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal policy. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with tenants and visitors, and contribute to a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, delivery personnel, and the public while carrying out site-specific policies, procedures, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property entrances, common areas, sidewalks, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and observe pedestrian and vehicle activity, assisting with visitor directions and communicating concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting emergency services and/or site representatives as needed.
• Document daily activities, patrols, incidents, and observations in clear, accurate reports while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be able to ride a bike.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
