Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain entry records, and direct authorized individuals to designated areas per site procedures.
• Screen incoming and outgoing traffic, document deliveries and contractor activity, and communicate access concerns to site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular/patrols of access points, business areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Badge Processing in New Holland, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201) Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access badges for employees and visitors.
• Alarm Panel Experience (B202) Candidates must demonstrate experience with alarm panel systems. This includes knowledge of alarm monitoring, response protocols, and troubleshooting alarm system issues.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204) Candidates should be proficient in using computers or tablets for daily tasks. This includes familiarity with software applications, email communication, and data entry.
• Customer Service Experience (B219) Candidates must possess strong customer service skills. This includes experience in handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing a positive customer experience.

Job Schedule:

• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site‑specific access control procedures, food production location policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain entry records, and direct authorized individuals to designated areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Screen incoming and outgoing traffic as assigned, document deliveries and contractor activity, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
